I have never trained with a Trainer before, how does this work?
If you are “new” to weight training, I recommend purchasing 2
packages of 5 sessions, since there is much to learn, and I’ll be
"teaching" you how to train yourself. Since you have no background in
training, I’ll make sure you will learn the basics you need to continue a
fitness program on your own.

If you ARE already training, or have trained in the past, I recommend
the package of 5 sessions to get you motivated to work out on your own.

If you have been a “gym rat” for years and want a professional to see if
you’re doing your exercises right, or just need a new workout to follow,
I recommend coming 1 time.

How many times a weeks do I train with you?
Some clients come exclusively to me 2 times every week. I see other
clients once a week and they train other days on their own.  Then there
is the once a month client who pops in for a tune up.

Those who train either 1 time a week or 1 time a month usually have
either their own equipment (some dumbbells will do) or belong to a
gym to get a second or third day of training depending on lifestyle,
quest to be fit or just TIME constraints. Whatever works for you.

Some girls do the package of 5 and off they go on their own, either
"forever,"  OR they become a once a month girl to check in with me to
increase the workload, get new ideas and so on.

What do we do in the gym?
Weight/resistance training with machines and dumbbells to strengthen
your muscles and to get more metabolically active is MY STYLE of
training my clients.  It's not easy to do but you have to do it to get
results.  Weight training sessions are NOT to be compared to a
traditional aerobic class.

I like to teach variety but in the beginning I stay pretty consistent with
the basic exercises to teach you movement and to gain some
STRENGTH then onto the fun stuff like interval training, circuit
training, cardio/circuit training, etc.

I use to workout, but haven’t for years.  Am I starting ALL over again?
If you were into working out or playing sports, your muscles have
MEMORY so you will respond very quickly to training and make great
strength gains.  I’ll be able to tell from the way you train, the weights
you’re using and the consistency of your movements, how best to
progress you.

Can my daughter/girlfriend/mother “Buddy Train” together?
I have to say NO since everyone’s “Fitness Level” and “Learning
Curve” are  different.   You may be a “natural” at movement and your
“buddy” may not.  I will spend more time with her ”teaching” than
equal time with the two of you since she may not be as “teachable” as
you.   In my years of experience I feel a client benefits most with one-on-
one training.

So now what do I do to get started?
Email me at Riekerfit@yahoo.com.  In the subject line, type “Trainer
Info.”   Give me your name and a phone number and some info on what
you are looking to accomplish with training.  Then give me an idea of
what day(s) and time(s) you’re looking at and I will see if that will fit
into my client schedule.

There ya go. Any more questions, email me at
Riekerfit@yahoo.com.
